I have joined gyms in the past, but the only workout that truly made me break a sweat was Denise Austin! Every morning, I would get up to watch her program on Exercise TV, and it really helped. She motivated me so much.

I started a new job and my hours haven't given me the chance to see her in the morning so I started to get out of shape. Well that will change now, because I intend to record her shows and watch them later when I get home, so as to not lose out, only pounds! And tone up too.

My Fitness Goal:
to lose 30 pounds and tone up

My Favorite Exercise:
yoga, brisk walking and leg lifts

I walk a lot since I have diabetes. I am always in need of new shoes as a result of all the walking that I do.

ExerciseTV Success Stories: Sheryl Knapp - Pleasanton, CA

March 14, 2007 was to be the day I got my braces off, turned 51 and retired after 31 years. The next few months would be very challenging.

My neck was fused several years ago and started giving me problems in late March. My yearly mammogram showed signs of abnormal cells, needed further views and then a very traumatic biopsy.

Pain pills were my friend. My 15 year old son had a cartilage transplant and needed care. Husband is working in another state and my 18 year old went off to college. Retirement... work was easier!

It is now September and I don't have cancer, both boys are doing well and I owe my sanity to the 10,000 steps a day in my New Balance 844 walking shoes. I have worn two pairs and am on my third. Never under estimate the power of a great pair of shoes.

My Fitness Goal:
Core strength to support my neck and arms. I am 5'8" and 131 pounds. Pretty good shape and just want to stay that way. Would like to try some weight training.

My Favorite Exercise:
Walking in my New Balance shoes, seriously. I don't need to win, just want to share and never ever give up. Exercise has always been a part of my life. Figure skating, dance, tennis, snow skiing, wakeboarding and cycling. Walking is just fine right now.

I weighed 350 lbs. I hated the way I looked. Watching you guys working out, I started to get the strength to do it. It took time and patience and a lot of struggle but I lost 150 lbs. I am still struggling but I am trying my best. I still need help. With help, I'll do it

I want to maintain at least 150lbs

I love the workouts online. They keep me motivated to work out every day.

I like the videos because they give me a great workout for the little time I have to spend exercising. There really are no excuses for skipping a 10 or 20 minute workout when they utilize my time wisely.

Thank you so very much Exercise TV. This is a great new idea for home (or anywhere you have internet) exercising.

I didn't start exercising until 2005 when I reached 200 lbs on the scale and was out of breath every time I climbed a few steps. Plus my cholesterol level was elevated. I have lost 20 lbs since, but it's a struggle to lose more. My cholesterol level is within normal readings now.

My Fitness Goal:
My goal is to loose 40 lbs. and drop some clothes sizes.

My Favorite Exercise:
I like the mile walks with Leslie, and actually all of her programs.

My entire childhood, everyone referred to me as "Olive Oil." I was actually that thin. I really did not have any weight issues until after I had my daughter, 17 years ago. I think a lot of women, like myself, are guilty of allowing marriage and motherhood to rob us of any personal time. We often put everyone else's needs before our own. Nobody really made any demands on me. I just thought I was being a good wife and mother.

I think the "eye opener" for me was watching my friends, one by one, become ill. People I knew were coming down with diabetes, thyroid problems, and high blood pressure. I knew that I would be next if I didn't make some lifestyle changes soon. I began speed walking with my daughter every evening.

Some evenings, because of bad weather, it was just not possible to get out for our walk. I remembered having seen an advertisement for Exercise TV so I decided to tune in. I have been doing ON DEMAND workouts regularly since, in addition to speed walking. I have lost inches and pounds. I went from wearing a size 13/14 to a size 9/10. I feel more energetic and physically fit. I went from struggling to do 3 push-ups to now being able to do 35 military style ones. I love the way I look and feel. Thank you Exercise TV and Star Trainers.

My Fitness Goal:
I would like to lose an additional ten pounds, further increase my core strength, and be able to do 50 push-ups.

My Favorite Exercise:
I love cardio kickboxing the most because it appeals to the "tomboy" in me. I also enjoy doing pilates.

ExerciseTV Success Stories: Sydney Tharp - Santa Cruz, CA

I was heavy as a child, but lost 50 lbs in high school. I was so proud of myself for sticking to a healthy diet and was feeling great.

Then, after graduation, I was told I had cysts in both my ovaries (one was about the size of a grapefruit!) and they could possibly be filled with cancerous tumors and I had to get surgery. Luckily, the tumors weren't cancerous, but my cirvix was damaged and I was told I would never be able to have children. I fell into a deep depression and began to gain the weight back. It was so hard to see my body go back to the way it had been.

I recently joined a gym but don't always have time to go because of school and work (I work full time to put myself through college.) When I don't have time for the gym, I love doing my on demand workouts! It's so easy and most of the workouts are really fun (I'm shy and it's great for me to be able to get really into a workout at home where no one can see!). I love my personal trainers, (both at the gym and on d emand!) and I have lost almost 20 lbs! Thank you for making my workouts fun and convenient!

My Fitness Goal:
I want to be a personal trainer, and I also want to pose for playboy

My Favorite Exercise:
I like doing a variety of different things. That is one of the great things about on demand workouts. I can change them with my mood!

I "discovered" Exercise TV on demand by accident about a year ago and was instantly hooked.

The benefit of being able to workout from my home and not waste 1-2 hours in traffic was wonderful. The constant variety of exercise programs helps eliminate the monotony of other programs. I was able to lose 25 pounds between Weight Watchers and Exercise TV. For someone who is only 5'2", that's a lot. I wish there were more 30-45 minute workouts to select from.

My Fitness Goal:
Maintain my Weight Watchers weight so I can continue to be a lifetime member.

My Favorite Exercise:
Three mile walk with weights
