It doesn't get any better or simpler than this workout!! This 40 min workout will go after cardio and body tone. It is simple and only requires two dumbells. Excellent. And who can beat the price. Just download the file and use a dvd creator program to be able to watch it on tv.

Rock Hard Is Correct!

If you like to workout hard, have fun, and never have a dull moment, this is it! I love this workout! love it! You Will get into the best shape and you will not "yawn", ever get board. Man or Woman, take the challenge. THIS IS FANTASTIC!

It is a really tough workout if you do as he says. What a great use of 40 minutes! Again if you keep your abs tight while you are working your legs and arms, you get an amazing full body workout.

This is a great cardio workout that builds muscles at the same time. It is going to be most effective if repeated a few times a week.

Tough in a Good Way

I love this workout. My trainer at the gym has me do many of these moves, but this workout I can follow along at home. I really like it, as far as feeling great about doing it. It's tough.

not for beginners!

great challenging pyramid style workout. Has 2 sets that incorporates all muscle groups. What I like best is that I don't need to have a weight bench with me to complete this workout.I feel so much more worn out from doing this than running 6 miles!

awesome

WOW! I usually can't find a workout that I can say that about! I had jogged on my treadmill (25 mins) then did about 20 mins of this workout...my inner thighs are screaming! I am definitely buying this video download!
ps-you could not use a med. ball and make it easier if need be..

A great challenge

I workout 6 days a week, heavy weights & cardio...this workout kicked my butt!! Great workout, I was out of breath and dripping sweat!! I will be implementing this into my weekly workouts for sure!

GREAT WORKOUT

I was a bit surprised by the intensity of this workout and found myself occasionally out of breath---however, to me, that's a good thing!
I was energized, not exhausted, which is also a plus.

Yes, as other posts have mentioned, you'll want to do a warmup prior (Cardio Tease, found on this website, sufficed nicely.)

I plan to return to Rock Hard Body regularly because I'm seeking a challenge and know this will yield results.

Plateau-buster

This is not for beginners. That's for sure.
Each move is done for a 45 sec. interval with 15 sec. rests in between.
After the first ten exercises you do them again (all ten) in reversed order.
Then you get ten new moves and you do those as well in reversed order.
One thing I did not like, which others also have mentioned, is that there is no warm up or cool down. But I suppose, once you know that, you could do AM Yoga before and maybe PM Yoga or Rhytmic Stretch afterwards...
On difficulty: Marco really is one of the best and nicest trainers on ETV. Het really puts you through it. I really wanted to stop sometimes completely but he is so motivating, he just makes you go on with the workout, even if you are unable then you just keep marching or holding a plank or something.

LOVED it! Best one yet! I like plyo, cardio and resistance all rolled into one, and that is what you get with this. Marco is careful about making sure you use good form, and really challenges you! I had a very hard time getting through this, and actually had to cop out on a few to catch my breath, which so far I haven't had to do with many on here. I would have liked a warm up and cool down, but now I know I need to do that on my own before getting started! I really enjoy Marco and Cindy W - thanks for providing these to keep those of us in shape who may not be able to afford a gym membership!!!!

Marco Reed is Awesome

I did this workout for the first time yesterday and i think this is an awesome workout ... I really enjoyed it. It was certainly difficult and had me sweating and breatheless in no time. I liked that this workout was intense and fast paced..
Marco Reed's approach to training keeps u motivated so u can give it your all...
I workout quite often, i normally do the Julian Micheals DVDs (Love her !!!!) ... and I am so sore today after doing Marco Reed's Total Body ...Which has me to believe that he really has taken this to another level.. I love it!!!
I did not give this 5 stars, because there isnt a warm up or cool down in this workout... but like Marco Reed says .. This is the best way to spend 40 minutes of your time...

This is a great workout! It's challenging and the moves are varied enough to keep you interested - even as you are struggling through them with aching muscles. I will say though that there is no warm-up or cool-down so you really have to make sure you stretch before and after this as you will work hard.

This workout is no joke at all, there is a reason it's titled TOTAL BODY WORKOUT. You really need to prepare yourself mentally for this workout. I advise everyone no matter what level of shape you believe your in, to watch the full workout prior to jumping into it. Cause this is the definition of an advanced workout I can honestly describe this workout as a love/hate relationship, because you will hate to do it, but you will LOVE the way you look.

If you want a killer 40 min work-out, this is it. I like that it is broken into 4 - 10 min segments and you do not get bored with the exercises. It keeps your heart rate up because of the 45 second intervals and short rest periods. I could only do about 35 minutes and am working up to 40 minutes. I was very sore the next day and have been exercising for a long time. GREAT, GREAT work-out and worth the money! The exercises are challenging and I do not recommend this for a beginner/couch potato wanting to get in-shape. This is an intermediate level video.

This was an excellent workout and very challenging. I liked how there were 4 sets, with the 1st and 2nd containing the same moves (with the 2nd in reverse order), and the 3rd and 4th containing differing moves than the first/second (also with the 4th in reverse order). You knew what you were in for and so there were no surprises. The combination of strength and cardio intervals were high energy and by the end of the 40 minutes, I was pooped. Great workout!

Marco is truely amazing! This workout is so challenging and fabulous for anyone looking to take their fitness to a really serious level. My body has become toned, defined and strong and my mind more disciplined.
