excellent quick core power yoga workout

downloaded to my iphone to do outside - easy directions. It's a great workout when I only have 45 minutes - Elise has good cues and it's a challenging core workout in the style of power yoga with smooth flow. She doesn't hold poses for long so if you are not familiar with most basic yoga poses, it may be an extra challenge.

Holistic Workout

This is an excellent workout. The poses and flows are very challenging. I purchased it because I knew I couldn't master it right away. I can already see a difference. I also love the images the instructor adds - uplifting and encouraging.

loved it

challenging, pushes to the limits. I will do it again until I am comfortable with all the poses. Ellse body is so gracious and really inspires you to become that perfect combination of strength and beauty.will come back again!

This workout is great for any fitness level. Elise gives allot of modifications to make it as easy or as hard as you want it to be. If this was my introduction to Yoga it might be slightly advanced however given the great instructions it really is for anybody. Two things I love the most about this 45 minute Yoga burn. Is that I truly feel like I have worked my entire body and Elisa has this great way of saying things that I would normally find kind of corny in a way that I can understand and apply to my practice.

Perfect!

I've taken a lot of yoga classes and watched a lot of videos over the past 12 years. This is my favorite of all time. Perfect mix of challenges targeting hard to reach areas in the buttocks especially. For all those exercise buffs who fear that yoga is too easy and also for all those who fear they lack the flexibility for yoga, this is the video for you!
Not to mention that the instrucotor is amazing! She is so pleasant to listen to and compassionate while teaching. LOVE this workout!

Great Workout

It was very advanced for me, but on the grand scheme of things I'm sure there are much harder yoga workouts. Either way, it was challenging from start to finish, but I loved it. And she provides many modifications which I had to use, but I looking forward to gaining the strength to do the harder versions of the poses. Be prepared to sweat :)

I LOVE this video

When i first came across this video, it was about 3 months ago. I was looking for a yoga workout that was both challenging and more than 20 minutes long. I have been doing this workout video for the past three months once a week (a different yoga workout a second time in the week) and i have definately seen a difference! i am a lot more flexible and i can withstand the poses a lot more than before, while still working up a sweat. Elise does not over explain the exercise and she does the poses while she's talking, so insted of half the video being explaination, the whole video is the workout. I feel great after completing the workout and I definately recommend it!

I get a great workout

I wasn't much a fan of the yoga instructors I'd found before. I usually exercise for a hard/aggressive workout, not soothing or more relaxed. Then I found this. Its challenging from beginning to end for me, time and time again. I also find its a great workout and stretch to balance my days of running.

Good Challenge

They had this on Comcast OnDemand and I was so upset when they got rid of it! Very challenging, but also great for tying your breath with the movement, working on balance and flexibility. This video always makes me soar for a couple of days!

This is a great workout! I can't do every move, yet, so it gives me something to work toward, while still giving me options until I get there.

A Real Plus

I love this workout. It is a totally body workout but with a bit more emphasis on lower body. There is a lot of core work and also some push ups.
You get the stretch and the lengthening and at the same time really get stronger.
Lots of modifications so you do have different options. I still would not recommend it for beginners or you may get discouraged. It is great for the intermediate though or anyone who wants to improve strength and stamina but wants to 'destress' and / or lengthen or stretch at the same time.

This is a great workout for intermediate folks. I was looking for something in addition to Maura Barclay's Yoga Sculpt and this one really fits the bill!

This video is tough! It really challenges even the most fit individual, however, modifications are offered so that athletes at all stages should be able to complete the workout. If you thought yoga was no sweat, guess again. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get their body more lean, flexible, and strong in ways you never thought possible. Great workout!

This DVD is worth buying. I feel great and look great after only working out to Elise's DVD three days a week. I highly recommend it!!!! :).
I'm yet to get bored, each time I just keep challenging myself. The only negative is, that I need about an hour of my time to work out, which is tough with children around the house. But I still make the time because it is AWESOME.

Good for a range of yoga expertise, from beginning to advanced, as she gives options for different level of difficulty with the poses. A great workout aerobically and also good for yoga stretching and flexibility.

I love the video. the downloading process wasn't very user friendly. it took a long time and I had to add extra programs for downloading.

This is one of the best workouts I have ever done! I started 4 months before my wedding and although I have never done Yoga before I have gotten so strong! I have also become more flexible. When I first started, I could barely do the Level 1 flows - now I can do the Level 3 flows but it still makes me sweat! Elise is so encouraging, calm and happy throughout the workout and her voice is very soothing. Also check out "Straight to the Core" - it is AMAZING for your stomach!
