Great Workout

I use a lot of Amy's workouts as I seem to get the best benefit from them. This is a lot like some of her Kickin' Strength DVD and I needed something I could put on my ipod to take with me on a trip. Amy's workouts are thorough and they work if you stick with them!

Fun and Challenging

I highly recommend this workout for everyone! It's one where you can start where you are, doing as much as you can, and progressively get better at concentrating on the quality of your movement. The choreography isn't super complex, but there are a couple of combinations that are a bit challenging for the novice who is used to marches only. I'm not super coordinated and I don't always get the combinations right, but when I do, I feel like a million bucks! Did a great job helping me focus on keeping my abs contracted too. Can't say enough about this video. My only complaint...can't hear Amy all that well. Other than that, fabulous instructor and great workout!

Good 20 minute workout

Intensity was good for me. I work out 5-6 days a week for about 1 hour/day. I enjoy intense workouts that push me and this one did that. I have done other workouts from Amy Dixon and her workouts are well thought out.

Kicked my butt!

When I belonged to a gym that used the Les Mills system, I went to their "kickboxing" class. This workout has many of the same basic moves. Be prepared for LOTS of non-static lunges, and your rear (and hamstrings) WILL feel it the next day.

Not enough

I don't find this challenging or interesting. I am sure there are some who would love it. Kick Boxing isn't for me though.

Good Workout

I loved this workout. It got my heart rate up and really challenged me. I would love it if I was able to fast forward the video. My battery went out and when I plugged my computer back up I had to wait until it got back to the point I was at before I could continue.

Great (quick) workout!

I needed something different to add to my daily cardio routine and this workout is quick & really gets your heart pumping! Love it!

This one is good for intermediates, but you can be adapted for beginners too. Just march instead of jogging or shuffling. I love the moves, some parts are just a little too tough but still doable. I love a workout I have to do it a few times to get all the moves right.
Amy Dixon is great too.

great workout - discover muscles you never knew

i love this workout! i would do it every day but i try to do a different one every once in a while to keep from getting bored. i did have some issues with balance when she does the reverse lunges, but i got used to it. after only 20 minutes, you really feel your muscles (lower body) got a workout! expect to be sore after your first try, but it's worth it!

Great workout!

I really enjoy this workout! It is quite intense for the short duration so you get a great workout in a short time! It's perfect for me to fit into my busy schedule. It is also great because you can choose your intensity. It is really easy to make it harder or easier depending on your fitness level. Amy is a great trainer and knows how to cue you to what's next. I will definitely do this regularly to get in my cardio.

kickboxing

I really love this workout mostly because I just love Amy Dixon. She is the best trainer I've worked out with so far. She is very motivating and the workout is fun. Also, I have bad knees but this workout is easy on them so I don't hurt after. My only complaint is the music. It's not energizing or fun but rather dull. Although I think most all the workouts on exercise tv have the same kind of music.

This is an amazing workout. I've done it only a few times now. I have to admit, the first time I did it, she went way too fast for me and I had to stop frequently. It is still pretty tough for me, but each time I do this workout, I've come to learn the routines better and finish the workout feeling energized. She is a motivating instructor, too... that helps!

Great quick cardio!

First time when I did this, for some reason I did not like it very much. But now when I have done it a couple of times more, I really enjoy it! It is short but fairly intense cardio blast - and fun! Instructor is good, her cueing is good.

great cardio

This is a great quick workout- great to incorporate into your workout regimen. It is cardio and sculpting in a quick 20 minutes. The combinations at first try may be a bit confusing but after doing it once or twice it is quite easy. I love Amy too- add some work kick box videos please!~

This is a great workout! It helps the whole body.
I think that A. Dixon is a excellent trainer! She keeps you into the workout and breaks it down for people that have physical problems, yet they still want to work out.

This workout KICKED MY BUTT! I have been working out faithfully for the last several months (all of us know how that can go in and out of our lives sometimes) and was feeling like I was pretty in-shape. But I did want something to challenge me ... and maybe even make some muscles ache!

Boy, did this work-out do that! I didn't expect it to be such a leg work-out! Usually kick-boxing videos focus a lot on the upper body. But I felt like this was a good over-all workout, especially when it came to my upper legs.

I don't really consider myself an advanced physical person. But this did challenge me in all the right ways!
